Who Can Adventure with us
We sometimes go very fast to get out to where the wildlife is, and this can make for a bumpy ride. We don’t call it an adventure for nothing.
- For this reason we do not allow children under two years old on our boat tours.
- The 9 hour tour is not appropriate for small kids and has an age limit of 12 years or older (unless booked as a private charter).
- Due to the fast and sometimes bumpy ride we do not recommend these small boat tours for people with chronic back problems.
- If you are pregnant please consult your doctor
- Children 12 years of age or under are required by Federal law to wear a life preserver while on board. We will provide these at no extra charge.
General Policies
- All our tours have a two passengers minimum from May 15 through Labor Day. Outside of those dates we have a 3 person minimum for booking (excludes private tours). Single travelers may be added to existing (non private) tours subject to availability.
- All prices, including advertised prices, are subject to change without notice. Price changes will not affect existing bookings.
- In order to reduce plastic waste we encourage all guest to bring their own refillable (non single use) water bottle. Drinking water will be available to refill your bottle and we also have paper cups to use if needed. Thank you for helping us to reduce single use plastic waste.
Our Cancellation Policy
Because most of our trips are booked well in advance and based on availability at that time, with very few seats available per trip, short notice cancellations usually result in those seats being left unfilled at a great loss to us. Therefore our cancellation policy is as follows: Cancellations made at least 14 days prior to departure are eligible for a full refund (minus the original 3% credit card transaction fee (5% on international purchases)). Cancellations made under 14 days prior to departure are only eligible for a 50% refund unless originally booked within the last 48 hours. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are not eligible for any refund unless originally booked within the last 48 hours . There is no charge for a change of date if made more than 14 days prior to departure, subject to availability on new date. Change of date within 14 days from departure will result in a 25% change fee and is subject to availability on new date. No Change of dates will be accepted within 24hrs of departure unless deemed neccessary by our captains for safety, weather, or mechanical circumstances. Please show up on time for your trip. If you are running a little late give us a call. We will also make our best effort to contact you if you are late, but can only keep our other passengers waiting a short time. “No shows” and last minute cancellations will not receive any refund.
Please double check the date on your booking confirmation email. Missed departures due to incorrect booking dates will still be considered “no shows” and will not be refunded or rescheduled. If you do not receive an email booking confirmation please contact us right away so that we can make sure you get one.
*Tours may need to be cancelled by us at anytime due to circumstances beyond our control. Some such circumstances are heavy wind or sea conditions, adverse weather, or mechanical breakdowns. In such situations customers will be offered a full 100% refund (including refunding the 3% credit card transaction fee), or if they choose will be given the option to reschedule, based on availability. No penalties or charges will incur to reschedule a tour in these situations.
Fuel Surcharge:
Our tour prices are set to take into consideration the typical cost of marine fuel in our area, which is by far our largest expense. When fuel prices soar way above that average that our rates were based on it can cause us to actually lose money to run our tours. Due to the extremely high prices of fuel in 2026 we have started adding a fuel surcharge to help mitigate that extra fuel cost. Since the fuel prices for 2027 and beyond are uncertain we are keeping that fuel surcharge in place as an additional line item instead of raising our base tour rates for 2027. The 2027 fuel surchare will be added to the ticket price at time of check out. If local marine fuel prices return to $4.25 per gallon(including all taxes) on the day of your departure then we will refund that surcharge at check in.
